Further Educational accomplishments: Many college level courses and tax seminars over many years.
Family history: Three children

City and daughter lives in Colorado Springs. Six grandchildren, ages 13 to 24.
Achievements and Occupational History: Little did I know when I
married Al Selph 52 years ago that my life would become a continuous exciting
adventure. After college graduation (Tulane) we said goodbye to New Orleans
and began our travels. Al began his career in the oil industry as a Geophysicist,
and my career as a Tax Accountant was put on the back burner temporarily.
As we criss-crossed the U.S. from Florida to Alaska, and also Australia, I worked
for many CPA firms. However, when we were transferred to Anchorage, Alaska
in 1970 I had the opportunity to open an accounting business with a good friend
from Oklahoma. Over the next 11 years we built a very lucrative firm with
about 200 clients. Al and I and our 3 children lived, worked and played
in the most beautiful place I had ever seen. Five years ago, after our retirement
we decided we would return to the gulf coast (Diamondhead, Miss.) & live there
in the winter and Colorado in the summer. That wasn't to be -- after living
there only 6 months, we lost everything in Katrina and now call Colorado
our home. After 38 moves (owned 12 homes & leased 26) we are now
in our final place on a lovely golf course in Peyton, Colorado - about 15 miles
east of Colorado Springs. We have a great view of Pikes Peak and enjoy the
beauty of Colorado as much as the beauty of Alaska. We continue to travel, but
now it's mainly to Europe.

personal comments: Learned to enjoy boating and fishing after moving to Alaska. Only
one in the family that can't ski after 10 years of lessons. Keep trying
golf without success. But, I do bowl twice a week. Enjoy cooking and
lots of good wine.
