Further Educational accomplishments: BS in Physical Education from LSU, taught nine years, then
received an MS in Special Education from Lamar University, taught for ten more
years and retired.
Family history: Son – Tim; Daughter - Jamie. Three granddaughters.
Achievements and Occupational History: Coached Tennis for three years.
Worked with Special Olympics at local and state level.
Fortier Reunions attended: Attended the 25th reunion.
Other personal comments: Harold
and I enjoy traveling. I have been very fortunate to have seen all fifty states.
Since our retirement we have traveled extensively throughout Europe, visiting
in 24 countries. Following retirement we built a home on the lake in the small
gated community of Wildwood located in the piney woods of east Texas. We
are very active volunteers in the community and our church. To sum up our retirement
best, the answering machine says "Harold is in the yard working and Marilyn
is on the golf course". God is Good.
