Name of ClassmateHolmes, Patricia (Pat) Guizerix    Spouse:  Guizerix, Armand (A.P.), Jr.     Married for 53 years

Resides: Picayune MS

Further Educational accomplishments:  Attended Newcomb College for two years.  When A. P. graduated from Tulane in 1957, we married and left for the Navy.

In the early 1970 we became interested in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.  Over the years I have studied theology and Christian Spirituality in many courses and seminars.  We still work with the Renewal and our parish church by speaking and teaching.

Many years ago while we were traveling, I fell in love with a painting.  Since it was not for sale, I decided to study art until I could produce something like it.  Forty years later watercolors and oils are still a delight to me. They occupy families’ walls and I have even sold some paintings and prints.

Family historyWe have four children, all married in excess of 20 years.  We have eleven grandchildren from ages one through twenty, three in college, one in the US Navy and the rest still in lower grades.

Achievements and Occupational History: For 43 years A. P. and I owned and managed two businesses in Picayune, MS.  Currently we own commercial property and own and operate a small mall (not the best of times for that business).

Fortier Reunions attended: Attended most of the reunions and looking forward to the 55th.  We really appreciate the work of all of the organizers.

Other personal comments: We love getting together with our family and enjoy a close relationship with all of our grandchildren because we have managed to master the arts of e-mail, cell phone pictures and text messaging. When the next thing comes out, one of them will have to teach us AGAIN.  We love to travel and get together with old friends.
