Name of Classmate: Bertucci, Chris A. ,  Metairie, La.

I am married to my lovely and patient wife, Elizabeth (Liz) Maenza for 45 years, as of May 15, 2010. Liz and I met long after High School, even though she was in "OP" at St. Joseph Academy and probably "bumped butts" on the dance floor but had never met. It took one of her former boyfriend's wife, who I worked with in the early 60's, to introduce us.

Further Educational accomplishments: I attended 3+ years at LSU & UNO and took 13 educational courses in Real Estate during my 30 year Real Estate career. Liz and I operated our own Brokerage for 30 years in Metairie, New Orleans and Kenner.  In August 1988, I entered training for 3 1/2 years of study to prepare for Ordination as a Permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church in December 1991.   Since then, I have been very happy and busy working for the Catholic Church in ministry to some of the family of God in 4 different Church Parishes to date in Metairie, Diamondhead, MS and New Orleans.

Family history:
We have four children (1 son and 3 beautiful daughters) all of whom now live in New Orleans and Metairie, La.. They have given us 10 grand children and 3 great grand children. Chris, 51, no children, is widowed and works in the New Orleans area as a Contractor; Leslie, 49, 4 children, is a partner with her husband in an Oil Field Supply Business; Elizabeth (Liz, Jr.) 48, divorced, 3 children and employed with Capitol One as VP/ Resource Manager in the Private Client Group and Maria, 40, married, 3 children, is employed as Executive Assistant with R & D Enterprises, Inc.

Achievements and Occupational History
: Almost all of my working career was in sales, Insurance for ten years and Real Estate for thirty years.

Fortier Reunions attended: Most all of them as I've been in New Orleans all my life.  I did reside from 5/2000 - 8/2008, when we lived in Diamondhead, MS.

Other personal comments:
I've always enjoyed being able to be in touch with other Fortier grads, as the four years at Fortier were truly fun for me.
